With martial arts being so influential and important in my life, I wanted to share this KarateDog resource here that can better help you understand my connection with dogs and martial arts!
Martial arts has been a way of life for me for waht seems like eternity! Martial Arts can help us balance our lives through its many teachings and aspects which are relevant to us in so many ways from physical fitness to psychological importance which makes the true meaning of Ying Yang.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have a few GrandMaster Instructors that have really helped me evolve to the person & martial artist I am today. So the physical regiments and trainings you see here for the dogs I’ve done in similar ways.
These martial arts physical engagements has helped me in some capacities to design these exercise regiments for my dogs! With martial arts psychological teachings like determination, patience, understanding, and appreciation have made me the best dog father I could be!
Keep in mind on the physical side, most working breeds, like my Huskies you see throughout my websites are exceptional athletes, and physically capable of much more than a human’s mind can fathom. On the psychological side Instinctually most working breeds possess mind over matter abilities that could sometimes be considered miraculous! In fact some martial arts systems, techniques, forms/ Katas are modeled after animal movements because of their instinctual proficiency, the animals make effortless speed and power!

Huskies are one of the most independent and energetic breeds out there! Many will get Huskies because of their striking looks, but will soon find out their intense determination with their appetite for exercise and adventure (enrichment) is too much for many peeps and therefore unfortunately, Huskies are often abandoned or surrendered! I’ve devoted much of my life to learning and taming the ways of Huskies and that’s why I share everything here for the betterment of the breed! I’m hoping others can learn how to better take care of them and make the decision before bringing them into the family if the Husky breed is right for them!
